We were finally ready to give Tony the approval to begin manufacturing the Comfy Cups™. This was a frightening time. We invested much of our savings, including $1,000 of Kyler's personal savings to manufacture 1,000 Comfy Cups™. Would we ever get our money back? Would we end up with a basement full of athletic cups? There were so many uncertainties, but we just kept moving forward.
The manufacturing process took about four months. The factory needed to order materials, production time took several weeks, then the Comfy Cups™ had to be shipped on a boat across the ocean from China and then put on a truck to Lenexa, Kansas.
